The head of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Iran, Ali Reza Mahjoubi, held talks with his Turkmen colleagues in Ashgabat to discuss the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in relevant areas, as well as the exchange of experiences between the trade unions of the two countries, reported Orient.tm.
The visit of the Iranian delegation led by Mahjoubi took place within the framework of a Central Asian tour, the main goal of which is to establish strong contacts with the trade unions of the region's countries and to exchange opinions on issues of mutual interest, as reported by the newspaper "Turkmenistan."
The head of the Iranian delegation thanked the Turkmen side for their hospitality and expressed hope for further cooperation. During the three-day visit to Turkmenistan, delegates from the neighboring country visited the museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet, and the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Nisa."
Comprehensive and productive negotiations were held with representatives of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan. It is expected that the delegation from the Confederation of Trade Unions of Iran will visit other Central Asian countries by September 14, 2023.
