A high-ranking business delegation led by the head of the Union of Traders and Industrialists of Turkmenistan visited the Herat province, Bakhtarnews.af reports.
The head of industry and trade of Herat province, Maulavi Bashir Muhammad Sirat, said that the delegation is working on signing the Sikh-Gul agreement, developing business relations between the two sides, meetings with the private sector - commercial zone of Afghanistan.
He visited Herat to study proposals from the Afghan side for the export of construction materials, especially marble, from Afghanistan to Turkmenistan.
This visit comes at a time when Nuruddin Azizi, acting minister of industry and trade of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, during his visit to Turkmenistan last year, opened the doors of Afghan exports to Turkmenistan, there he opened the doors of Afghan industry, held an exhibition.
