Tajikistan received humanitarian aid from 57 countries of near and far abroad in the first nine months of 2022, Avesta reports.
According to the customs service of Tajikistan, humanitarian aid from donor countries to the republic came in the amount of $110 million 374.7 thousand.
In total, Tajikistan received over 11.5 thousand tons of humanitarian aid in three quarters of this year.
During this period, flour, vegetable oil, medicines, food products and much more were received as a humanitarian aid.
The top three donors of Tajikistan are China – 32.5%, USA – 30.1% and India – 5.4%.
Tajikistan is one of the poorest countries in Central Asia with a population of over 10 million people. The GDP of Tajikistan for 2021 amounted to 8.75 billion US dollars.
