Feasibility study China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan rail road ready for consideration

China will soon transfer to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan a feasibility study of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project for examination. The feasibility study was prepared by a group of Chinese specialists, Trend reports citing press-servise of the Kyrgyz President.

This was said during a meeting between Vice Premier of the State Council of China Hu Chunhua and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov.

At the meeting, Zhaparov cited the largest transport project for the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway as an example of successful cooperation between the two countries. In his opinion, this project will have an invaluable positive impact on the economic development of the entire region.

Hu Chunhua, in turn, expressed hope that the three parties would actively promote the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project, thus ensuring uninterrupted trade and economic cooperation between the countries.

At the end of the meeting, the Vice Premier of the State Council of China noted his readiness to continue strengthening international cooperation, adding that the Chinese side is ready to unlock the potential of dialogue with Central Asia, especially in transport, trade, economic, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
