The next joint meeting of the governmental delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was held in Dushanbe, the Khovar agency reports.
The delegations of the parties were headed by the head of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan, Saimumin Yatimov, and the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchybek Tashiev.
The parties discussed the issue of delimitation and demarcation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border at the meeting.
"The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding," the agency said in a statement.
Other details of the talks have not yet been reported, but following the results of the meeting, a corresponding protocol was signed.
In addition, it became known that the next joint meeting of governmental delegations of the countries will be held on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
