A group of medical workers "Health Caravan" has been formed in Tajikistan, which will travel around the regions of the country. Caravan specialists will provide medical services to the population of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region within a week, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan has announced, Avesta reports.

40 qualified specialists of various profiles will help the population of the region free of charge in diagnosing, consulting and treating diseases.

"Health Caravan" - special mobile vehicles equipped with the latest medical equipment and consumables, contribute to improving the level and quality of medical care for the population, improving the lives of citizens.

Medics are planning to visit residents in Ishkashim, Roshtkala districts and Khorog in Gorno-Badakhshan.

Gorno-Badakhshan is located in the east of the country, the population of which lives mainly in a remote mountainous area, bordering Afghanistan in the south.

The action is carried out in accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan.

The population of Tajikistan is more than 10 million people, most of whom live in rural and mountainous areas.
