In Kazakhstan, 10 mln hectares of land returned to state

In Kazakhstan, within the framework of the "Zher Amanaty" project, over 10 million hectares of land have been returned to the state in two years, said the Chairman of the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov, during a meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Vlast.kz reports.

He also reported that in January-February 2024, 15 thousand people were trained in financial literacy under the "Qaryzysyz Qogam" project. By the end of 2024, it is planned to educate 750 thousand citizens.

In addition, the Speaker of the Mazhilis discussed the current legislative activities and the work of the ruling party.

In two months, the Mazhilis has adopted and sent for consideration to the Senate 18 laws, including amendments related to combating domestic violence, issues of digitization, science, business management, medical workers' liability insurance, transfer pricing, and population migration, said the Speaker of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.

Currently, deputies are working on three codes simultaneously – Budget, Water, and Construction, as well as a number of important draft laws. Koshanov assures that each proposed project is widely discussed with experts and the public.

Regarding the work of the Amanat party, Koshanov reported that special emphasis has been placed on party projects such as "Aul Amanaty," "Zher Amanaty," and "Qaryzysyz Qogam."
