The III International Investment Forum in Tashkent gathered more than 2,500 participants from 93 countries. As a result, agreements totaling $26.6 billion were signed, indicating Uzbekistan's high investment attractiveness and the success of the forum. For comparison, in 2022, the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) saw the signing of 167 documents worth $11 billion.
At the current forum, agreements were reached on the implementation of the following major investment projects:
- The company "Data Volt" from Saudi Arabia will be involved in building urban infrastructure in "New Tashkent" for $1 billion and will also create a "data processing center" based on green technologies for $3 billion.
- The company "Acwa Power" from Saudi Arabia will implement projects to build a wind power station with a capacity of 5 GW in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and create energy storage devices with a capacity of 2 GW for a total of $6.2 billion.
- The company "Amea Power" from the UAE will carry out a project to build a wind power station with a capacity of 1000 MW in the Republic of Karakalpakstan for $1.1 billion.
- The company "Saudi Tabrid" will start modernizing the heating system in Nukus, Fergana, and Kuvasay for $750 million.
- The Chinese company "Shanghai Knud International" will implement a project for the production of textile and sewing products in Namangan region for $205 million.
