Iranian entrepreneurs intend to cooperate with Uzbekistan in the field of agricultural technologies, reports Dunyo.uz.
This was discussed during a business forum in Mazandaran Province, attended by Uzbekistan's Ambassador Fariddin Nasriyev, Chairman of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture Ali Taghipour, and Iranian entrepreneurs.
The main focus was on increasing trade volumes and attracting investments.
"Business representatives from Mazandaran expressed their willingness to establish cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of agricultural technologies, particularly in rice and citrus cultivation and their preparation for export," the report states.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to organize a visit to Uzbekistan from January 15 to 19 this year by an Iranian business delegation led by the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture and leading entrepreneurs from the province.
