Kazakh authorities look for ways to increase income of population

Minister of Kazakh National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov reported at a meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan that as a result of the implementation of the Program for Increasing the Income of the Population, the salaries of more than 1.1 million public sector employees were increased, according to the website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

In particular, the wages of 74 thousand doctors were increased by an average of 30%, 600 thousand teachers and teachers - by 25%, 173 thousand representatives of paramedical personnel - by 20% and other categories of employees of budgetary organizations - by 20%.

As a result of the meeting, additional measures were taken to ensure employment and reduce the wage gap among workers in the country.

Measures have been worked out to update this program until 2029. At the same time, it is planned to be divided into republican and regional levels, which will allow the maximum involvement of local executive bodies.

One of the main directions in the coming period will be the creation of jobs in the real sector of the economy within the framework of regional employment cards, increasing the incomes of the rural population within the framework of the Auyl Amanati project and the provision of various state support measures for small and medium-sized businesses.

In addition, it is planned to continue work on increasing wages from the budget and providing citizens with proactive social support measures through new digital services.
