Kazakhstan and Russia intend to increase the number of joint investment projects to 250 in 2024. This is two times more than it was before. This was stated by the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Marat Karabaev.
Currently, Kazakhstan and Russia have 125 projects worth about $33 billion, Karabaev said.
“Next year, we set ourselves the task of bringing [the number of joint projects] to 250, that is, a twofold increase,” he said during the session “Industrial cooperation of the SCO member states in the era of global challenges” at the Innoprom-2023 exhibition .
