Kazakhstan recognized as most "toxic" country in Central Asia

A recent study by the British energy company "The Eco Experts" revealed that Kazakhstan is among the top ten countries in the world with the highest toxicity levels. This information is indicated on the organization's website.

Experts analyzed data for 135 countries based on five factors:

  1. Energy consumption per capita,
  2. CO2 emissions,
  3. Air pollution,
  4. Mortality from air pollution,
  5. Use of renewable energy sources.

Among the Central Asian countries, Kyrgyzstan was found to be the least toxic. Tajikistan ranked second, while Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan showed the highest levels of toxicity.
