The first exhibition of Kyrgyz goods and services in Russia, Caravan Expo 2022, held in Moscow from November 17 to 19, ended with the signing of more than 10 major contracts for a total of 10 billion rubles, the Akchabar portal reports. The exhibition was held in Moscow last week, Ritmeurasia reports.

The main outcome of the exhibition was the opportunity for Kyrgyz manufacturers of goods to enter the Russian market first, and subsequently to the markets of the entire CIS and Europe, Akchabar believes.

As part of Caravan Expo 2022, more than 40 Kyrgyz companies were able to present their products and goods to potential Russian partners and customers. And the demand for their products, goods and services has grown quite high today.

“We have been producing women's clothing since 2015. We work both domestically and for export. We came to the exhibition with the hope of finding new Russian clients and partners, which will allow us to expand in the Russian market, which we are already somewhat familiar with. In principle, we are satisfied with the results of the exhibition. We came to some agreements with Russian companies,” said Sofia Zharkynbayeva, exhibitor and founder of the Saz brand from Kyrgyzstan.

The interest of Russian entrepreneurs in the goods of the Kyrgyz clothing industry once again proves that Russians are happy to buy goods marked “Made in Kyrgyzstan”, the portal concludes.
