Kyrgyzstan ranked first among Georgia’s foreign trade partners by export volume, reports Economist.kg citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
According to Geostat, Georgian exports to Kyrgyzstan totaled $681.3 million between January and June 2025, marking a 50.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024 ($453.4 million). Kyrgyzstan’s share in Georgia’s total exports rose from 15.9% to 21.1%, with the country primarily importing second-hand passenger vehicles from Georgia.
Kazakhstan ranked second with $414 million (12.8%), followed by Azerbaijan with $341.8 million (10.6%).
Imports from Kyrgyzstan to Georgia remain minimal, amounting to just $2.38 million during the first six months of 2025.
Georgia’s total foreign trade turnover for the period reached $11.93 billion, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year.
Top Georgian export items include:

Passenger cars — $1.22 billion (37.6% of total exports);
