Kyrgyzstan has become the only country in the post-Soviet space to enter the top 10 countries in terms of profitability of digital asset mining "at home." This information is reported by the specialized publication Coingecko.
In Kyrgyzstan, the cost of mining one bitcoin [1 BTC] on a household scale is reported to be $2660, according to the message. By this metric, the country shares the sixth place with Libya.
"Excluding equipment costs, at a Bitcoin price of $26120, the profit from solo mining each BTC in Kyrgyzstan reaches $23460," noted the authors of the research.
The top 10 countries with the most favorable conditions for Bitcoin mining, due to low electricity costs, include states primarily located in Africa and Asia.
