Kyrgyzstan is going to take measures to ensure that sanctioned goods do not cross the country's border, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Zhaparov said, commenting on public statements about the threat of economic restrictions from the United States.

As measures to combat the export of sanctioned goods, Zhaparov mentioned increased trade transparency. He recommended that entrepreneurs use electronic invoices.

He also stressed that Kazakhstan did not confirm the fact of deliveries of Chinese drones from Kyrgyzstan. Earlier, The Washington Post reported on the detention of a batch of DJI Agras T-30 drones at the border of the two countries, which the Kyrgyz company planned to resell in Russia.

The American publication notes that sanctions against Bishkek may be introduced this week.

According to experts, the situation looks like an information campaign, with the help of which the US is trying to scare the countries of Central Asia. If Washington decides to impose real sanctions against the countries of Central Asia, the region will create a financial infrastructure independent of third parties
