Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, called on American businesses to invest more actively in the Kyrgyz economy. He took part in a roundtable in Washington with representatives of the Kyrgyz-American Business Council, reports 24.kg.

“Direct foreign investment from the United States serves as a significant driver for the development of our economy,” Kasymaliev emphasized.

He noted that Kyrgyzstan is ready to offer favorable conditions for investors—from liberal tax legislation to broad opportunities in free economic zones and access to markets with a combined population of over 500 million people.

“Kyrgyzstan today is a country of new opportunities and prospects, with a dynamically developing economy and an open policy. We are ready to provide comprehensive support to investment projects at all stages of their implementation and offer the necessary state assistance,” he stated.

Among the priority areas, he listed:

  • Construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway;

  • Launch of the Kambar-Ata HPP-1;

  • Development of tourism, including through a visa-free regime and the country’s unique natural beauty.

“Mining and processing of mineral resources are also a priority sector. Kyrgyzstan is ready to offer reliable and environmentally responsible partnerships in the exploration and processing of critical resources,” said Kasymaliev.

The head of Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet expressed confidence in expanding Kyrgyz-American economic ties and invited U.S. entrepreneurs to visit Kyrgyzstan to assess investment opportunities firsthand.
