Kyrgyzstan returns 7.8 bln soms from fight against corruption in three years

Over three years, 7.8 billion soms from the fight against corruption have been returned to the state budget of Kyrgyzstan, Talant Keldibekov, deputy director of the Central Treasury under the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, said, the press service of the Kyrgyz ministry reports.

Funds received as a result of revealing facts of corruption are kept on the deposits of law enforcement agencies, after which they are transferred to the state budget - to the deposits of the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, Keldibekov said.

From 2020 and including the period from January to October 2022, the budget of Kyrgyzstan received 7.8 billion soms. Of these, 2.7 billion soms in 2020, 1.9 billion soms in 2021 and 3.2 billion soms for 10 months of 2022.
