In January–March 2024, industrial products were produced in Tajikistan by 8.0% more than in the corresponding period last year, reports the Statistics Agency under the President of Tajikistan.
At the same time, the main factor in the growth of the total volume of industrial production was the increase in production in the mining industry - by 39.3%, while in the manufacturing industry the growth was 10.5%.
In the mining industry, by type of product produced, compared to the corresponding period last year, there is an increase in the production of hard and brown coal - by 3.9%, metal ores - by 1.5 times.
But growth was also observed in other industries. For example, in textile and clothing production, production volume increased by 12.5%.
