The second staff talks were held on the basis of the Combat Training Center of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan the preparation and conduct of the command-staff exercise "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" with the Peacekeeping Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan.
"The purpose of the negotiations is to ensure the complete and high-quality development of training issues and the achievement of the goals of the exercise," the report says.
The meeting was attended by military delegations of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat.
In the course of further discussions, the delegations considered and agreed on the concept and procedure for conducting the exercise, the plan of practical actions of peacekeeping units, issues of comprehensive support and reconnaissance of the area for the upcoming maneuvers.
Command-staff exercises "Indestructible Brotherhood-2023" are scheduled for autumn 2023 on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
