А new anti-trafficking law will soon come into force in Kazakhstan, implemented with the advisory support of the International Organization for Migration and other structures in the country. Decisive measures were taken by the authorities before, but the attackers find ways to circumvent the law, usually choosing the most vulnerable people as victims, the UN press service reports.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, 110 crimes related to human trafficking have already been identified this year over the past period. Of these, illegal imprisonment for the purpose of exploitation - 5, human trafficking - 25, including minors - 16.
