Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the military parade marking the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory on Red Square in Moscow, Kazinform reports.
He was joined by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. They were the only Central Asians Presidents at the Victory Day parade in Moscow.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is on a working visit to Moscow, as is Shavkat Mirziyoyev. They both held official talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan took part in a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden.
Along with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the ceremonies were attended by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, King Sultan Ibrahim of Malaysia, Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, and others.
