Price of gasoline in Kyrgyzstan lower than in its southern neighbors

The cheapest gasoline among the EAEU countries has been recorded in Kazakhstan - the cost of the AI-92 brand per liter was about 38 soms or about $0.42. The cost of AI-95 gasoline is less than 50 soms per liter, diesel fuel - 55 soms per liter. At the same time, the price for gas fuel (LPG) is about 14 soms per liter.

The Antimonopoly Regulation Service of Kyrgyzstan reported this and presented the average comparative prices for fuels and lubricants in the EAEU member states and its neibor states as of October 24.

Russia took second place, the cost of AI-92 fuel is set at 48 soms per liter or $0.54. The price for AI-95 gasoline will be 52 soms, for diesel fuel - 60.5 soms per liter. The cost per liter of gas is set at 26 soms per liter.

Kyrgyzstan is in third place; a liter of AI-92 oil product will cost 64 soms per liter or $0.72. The cost of AI-95 is set at 71 soms per liter, and for diesel fuel it is also about 68 soms per liter. The price for LPG is about 32 soms per liter.

Meanwhile, gasoline is already more expensive among Kyrgyzstan’s southern neighbors. In Uzbekistan, a liter of AI-92 gasoline costs 74.5 soms or $0.84. The price for AI-95 is set at 89 soms, for diesel fuel at about 95 soms per liter.

In Tajikistan, the cost of one liter of AI-92 fuel will cost almost 80 soms or $0.90. The price for AI-95 gasoline will be about 92 soms, for diesel fuel in the amount of 91 soms per liter of fuel. The gas price is set at about 54 soms per liter.

The annual demand for petroleum products in Kyrgyzstan is about 1.4 million tons. And the average daily consumption is: gasoline - 1781 tons, diesel fuel - 1507 tons.
