A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmenneft" Guvanch Agadjanov, participated in a regular meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Working Commission on cooperation in the energy sector, held at the Ministry of Energy of Romania in Bucharest, Turkmenportal.tm reports.
The parties acknowledged the high level of Turkmen-Romanian cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and mutual benefit.
The Turkmen side confirmed that one of the main aspects of the country's energy strategy is the continued modernization and technical renewal of oil and gas enterprises, as well as the implementation of projects to build modern gas processing complexes, including the production of gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, polyethylene, polypropylene, and other petrochemical products.
The participants of the meeting noted the broad application of advanced resource-saving technologies and innovative scientific and technical solutions in Turkmenistan.
Following the meeting, the heads of the delegations signed the respective protocol.
