Single tax collection increased 3 times in a year in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, the collection of the unified tax in 2024 has tripled, according to data from the Ministry of Finance, 24.kg reports.

Between January and October of this year, 17 billion Kyrgyz soms (approximately $195 million) were collected as unified tax revenues for the state budget, exceeding the previous year's figures for the same period by 11.3 billion soms.

The revised national budget for 2024 increased the unified tax collection target by 2.4 times, setting it at 19.6 billion soms. For 2025, the target has been further raised to 23.7 billion soms.

The unified tax is a simplified taxation system designed for small and medium-sized businesses with annual turnovers not exceeding 30 million soms. It replaces three taxes: profit tax, sales tax, and VAT. The system is open to both small and medium-sized enterprises.
