State bugget of Kyrgyzstan doubled for two years

The country’s budget has doubled for two years, the head of Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, announced at the final meeting.

He noted that an ambitious goal was set — to bring the resources of the consolidated budget of 2022 to over 400 billion soms.

«This goal has been achieved — the budget for the year will be about 430 billion soms. The country’s budget has been doubled for two years. The International Monetary Fund, in its statement on the results of 2022, indicated that the special efforts of the official tax authorities have led to a significant improvement in revenue collection this year,» Japarov said.

He noted that, at the same time, no new taxes were introduced. Such success was achieved thanks to the fiscalization of tax procedures, proper management of macroeconomic policy and the corresponding monetary policy, Japarov pointed out.

Earlier, Akylbek Japarov also praised the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, for increasing the country’s budget.
