Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev welcomed the results of the trilateral summit "Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey" held in Avaza and called it a significant event, Anadolu agency reports.
In his written statement following the meeting of the presidents of the three Turkic-speaking countries, Omuraliev stressed that the leadership of the OTS is very satisfied with the results and agreements reached between the states during the first summit.
“The expansion of relations between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan will serve to strengthen the already existing strong solidarity between our fraternal states and, undoubtedly, will be a very important step forward in the process of unification and integration of the entire Turkic world,” the OTS Secretary General wrote.
The summit of the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan was held in the Turkmen city of Avaza, where a number of documents important for each of the participants of the meeting were adopted.
