Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with CIS countries surges by 50% in Early 2025.
Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with CIS countries reached $1.2569 billion in January-February 2025, marking a 50% increase compared to the same period last year, reports the CIS Executive Committee’s press service.
According to Report.az, citing Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee:
- Exports to CIS countries declined by 7.05% to $188.4 million
- Imports from CIS countries grew by 68.2% to $1.0685 billion
In the first two months of 2025, CIS countries accounted for:
- 4.9% of Azerbaijan’s total exports
- 26.9% of Azerbaijan’s total imports
The largest trade volumes were recorded with Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistaт, Turkmenistan
