The issues of holding the 13th session of the Dialogue on Human Rights between Tajikistan and the European Union and Tajikistan's accession to the EU System of Preferences (GSP +) were discussed at a meeting between Minister of Justice of Tajikistan, Muzaffara Ashuriyona, and EU Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Tajikistan, Raimundas Karoblis, Avesta reports.
During the meeting, the Tajik mnister informed the EU ambassador about the readiness of Tajikistan to discuss these issues at the upcoming meetings. He also expressed the willingness of the Ministry of Justice to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
The ambassador of the European Union, in turn, highly appreciated the readiness of Tajikistan and called this meeting the starting point for the development of further cooperation.
Other thematic issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
