Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have made a significant step forward in the development of regional aviation. The State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) "Tajikairnavigation" and the "Uzairnavigation" Center signed an agreement, marking a new stage in cooperation between the two countries in air traffic management, the press center of SUE "Tajikairnavigation" informs.
Key Aspects of the Agreement
The agreement, signed by representatives of both parties, focuses on interaction procedures in the air traffic service area between the capitals of the two countries – Dushanbe and Tashkent.
This document aims to optimize air traffic and improve the efficiency of airspace use in the region.
According to the press center of SUE "Tajikairnavigation," the agency's delegation visited Uzbekistan for negotiations with the leadership of the "Uzairnavigation" Center.
During the meeting, special attention was given to the technical aspects of the new air route, which will start in Uzbekistan and end in Tajikistan.
Economic and Technological Benefits
The new air corridor promises significant benefits for airlines and passengers. It is expected to save flight time and reduce fuel consumption, which will not only increase the profitability of air transportation but also reduce its negative environmental impact.
During the meeting, the Tajik delegation presented their Uzbek colleagues with an innovative development—an automated flight planning system. This system is designed to increase the efficiency and safety of air transportation by optimizing routes and improving coordination between dispatch services.
Additionally, Tajikistan shared its experience in implementing PBN (Performance Based Navigation) technology. This advanced navigation method allows aircraft to fly optimal routes within the range of ground or satellite navigation systems, significantly enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of airspace use.
Experience Exchange and Cooperation Prospects
During the visit, the Tajik delegation also visited the Aeronautical Information Service and the Training Center of Uzbekistan Airways. This exchange of experience and knowledge lays a solid foundation for further cooperation and mutual enrichment in aviation technologies and personnel training.
The signing of this agreement and the intensive exchange of experience between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan reflect a growing trend toward regional integration in Central Asia. This cooperation will not only improve air traffic between the two countries but may also serve as a model for other countries in the region.
Aviation experts note that such close cooperation could lead to the creation of a more integrated and efficient air traffic management system in Central Asia. This, in turn, could stimulate economic development, expand tourism opportunities, and strengthen regional ties.
