The issues of ensuring sustainable and accelerated economic development, achieving strategic goals, increasing the competitiveness of the national economy and reducing the country's dependence on external factors were discussed in Dushanbe at the talks between the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, Salekhzoda Ashurba Abduvokhid, and the World Bank Regional Director for Equal Development, finance and institutions Lalita Murthy, Avesta reports.
The Tajik side noted that mutually beneficial cooperation with the World Bank is developing every year and reaching a qualitatively new level.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to hold high-level events in honor of the 30th anniversary of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank in June this year and further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
