The Government of Tajikistan has signed an investment agreement with the Tajik company "Sipar Group" to attract $15 million (1.36 billion rubles) for the expansion of armored vehicle and special equipment production, TASS reports.

This agreement is part of the state program for accelerated industrialization of Tajikistan from 2020 to 2025.

"Sipar Group" plans to assemble 17 types of special vehicles at its armored vehicle manufacturing facility, with the goal of attracting foreign investments and creating more than 100 new jobs.

The plant's production capacity is up to 120 specialized vehicles per year, with the potential to increase production if needed. The assembly of special military and civilian vehicles will use components from the UAE-based company "STREIT GROUP."

President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the "Sipar Group" facility in the city of Tursunzade in May 2023. Tajikistan's Minister of New Technologies, Sherali Kabir, expressed confidence in the successful export of domestically produced military equipment, stating that this armored technology is on par with that produced in other Central Asian republics.
