In accordance with it, from August 1, 2023, all public services must be paid in a non-cash form.
"Pay taxes, state fees for the issuance of permits and licenses, other mandatory payments to the budget, fines, compulsory state insurance funds, medical services, utilities, other types of public services, as well as the receipt of funds by ministries and departments, and state organizations in non-cash form," the decree of the President of Tajikistan says.
The Decree notes that it is necessary to "prohibit accepting payment for paid services in cash to ministries and departments, state organizations and credit financial organizations of the republic."
The National Bank of Tajikistan, ministries and departments, state organizations and credit financial institutions of the republic were instructed to develop, develop, organize and provide the necessary infrastructure for accepting non-cash payments until August 1, 2023.
