Irretrievable outflow of foreign currency from Tajikistan in 2022 amounted to more than $3 ban

The foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan remains negative and the irretrievable outflow of currency from the republic as a result of foreign trade activities last year amounted to more than $3 billion, Avesta reports.

According to statistics, Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover for 2022 amounted to over $7.3 billion, which is 15% more compared to the same period in 2021.

Export of goods during this period amounted to more than $2.1 billion. Import indicators amounted to about $5.2 billion.

Thus, as a result of foreign trade activities over the past year, the irretrievable outflow amounted to more than $3 billion.

During the reporting period, Tajikistan had trade relations with 110 countries of the world. Russia, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and China remain the main trade partners of the republic.
