President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, with the "Dostyk" (Friendship) Order of the first degree. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakhstan's President.

The Hungarian Prime Minister was honored with this award for his significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Hungary, the announcement states.

In his congratulatory message, Tokayev emphasized that in Kazakhstan, Orban is known as an outstanding political leader and a friend tested by time.

"In this regard, I would like to highly appreciate your outstanding leadership skills and continuous contribution to the development of Kazakhstan-Hungary relations. Thanks to your efforts and personal commitment, we look to the future of our cooperation with great optimism," Tokayev said.

He added that the decision to award Orban was made considering his exceptional role in strengthening the close ties between the two nations.

"The 'Dostyk' Order of the first degree is a symbol of deep respect and recognition of the unity of our friendly peoples and our commitment to strengthening relations built on trust and mutual respect. May it inspire all of us to continue building bridges and working together for the common good," concluded the President of Kazakhstan.
