In 2024, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China reached $22.71 billion, according to the customs authorities of both countries. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov shared this information in an interview with China’s leading news agency, Xinhua.
According to him, this result confirms that trade and economic cooperation between the two countries continues to grow actively.
"We are interested in developing mutual trade, diversifying it, and promoting joint investment projects of mutual interest. To further strengthen Kyrgyz-Chinese economic cooperation, I consider it important to carry out comprehensive work in sectors such as agriculture and processing industries, ecology, and energy," Japarov stated.
He added that the authorities intend to strengthen cooperation between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and China, create a banking and financial platform, and effectively utilize the advantages of cross-border and e-commerce.
