From January to November 2024, the volume of mutual trade between Turkmenistan and China amounted to $9.67 billion, an increase of 0.4% compared to the same period last year. This data was provided by the General Administration of Customs of China, reports Turkmenportal.tm.
Turkmenistan's exports to the Chinese market reached $8.86 billion, 0.1% higher than last year, while imports from China totaled $898.5 million, rising by 0.3%. Thus, Turkmenistan remains the only country in the region maintaining a positive trade balance with China.
The total trade volume between China and Central Asian countries grew by 5.9% over 11 months, reaching $85.58 billion, highlighting the region's importance in trade and economic cooperation with China.
