A freight train with 261 vehicles from a Chinese company has departed from Shijiazhuang, China's Hebei Province, to five countries in Central Asia, the Shijiazhuang International Land Port said. China Daily writes about it.

According to the port, this is the first double-decker train for the transport of vehicles, which departs from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Each of the 29 cars of the train can carry 9 to 10 cars, which can drive directly into the train, which greatly improves the efficiency of loading and unloading.

The train will arrive at Khorgos, a border port in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Then the cars will be delivered by trucks to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The vehicles were manufactured by Great Wall Motors based in Baoding, Hebei Province.
