Since 1991, Turkish companies have implemented more than 1,000 projects in Turkmenistan worth over $54 billion, according to Turkish Ambassador to Ashgabat Ahmet Demirok, ABC.az reports.
The projects cover key infrastructure projects, from energy and transportation to housing, social facilities, and ports.
Turkish companies are also ready to participate in new initiatives, including the second phase of the Arkadag smart city. According to the ambassador, mutual trade between Turkey and Turkmenistan in January-November 2025 approached $2 billion, with the two sides expecting to increase it to $5 billion.
