A Korean-Turkmen seminar on cooperation in the textile industry was held in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, and the Korean technology institutes KITECH and KIAT, according to Orient.tm.
Around 30 representatives of textile companies from Korea and Turkmenistan, as well as officials from relevant ministries, participated in the seminar. Among the attendees were executives of textile companies, including SL TECH, CYS Bridge, Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi Textile Complexes, and others.
During the event, presentations were given on technical expertise and the latest technologies in the textile sector.
The Korean Ambassador highlighted the potential for cooperation based on Turkmenistan's cotton resources and Korean expertise, contributing to the "Revival of the Great Silk Road" concept.
