In Turkmenistan, the private company "Odjar Asia" has signed an agreement with the Eurasian office of the corporation "Sino Hydro Bureau 12. Co., Ltd." to implement a project for the construction of the high-speed "Serakhs-Mary-Serkhetabat" highway, reports Eurasiatoday.ru.

This highway, in line with the policy of diversifying energy resources and the active use of modern transport technologies, will have a positive impact on the development of foreign economic trade and the export of Turkmenistan's natural resources to international markets.

The road will be approximately 450 km long, including 35 km of additional sections.

The highway will meet the strictest international standards and will be one of the widest in its region. Its 50-meter-wide roadway will include 8 lanes with safe dividers.

Advanced technologies and materials such as asphalt concrete, synthetic coatings, and unique reinforcing elements will be used during construction, significantly increasing the road's strength and quality.

According to preliminary data, the project cost will exceed $2 billion and will be financed through foreign investments, with implementation carried out by a private enterprise.
