The International Seaport of Turkmenbashi has a license for storing goods in a special customs regime without the need to pay customs duties, as reported by the website of the agency "Turkmen Denezheleri," according to Orient.tam.

"This service allows various cargoes and goods to be stored within the port area without paying customs duties and formalities for up to 3 years," the statement says.

Goods imported into the territory of Turkmenistan can be stored under customs control without the payment of customs duties, taxes, as well as economic prohibitions and restrictions established by the legislation of Turkmenistan.

This service will be convenient and beneficial for trading companies and manufacturers, as they can regularly send and distribute goods to neighboring regions directly from the port area. The seaport also provides them access to modern loading equipment, nearby road and railway infrastructure, enabling swift transportation of goods to neighboring countries or within Turkmenistan.

The Turkmenbashi International Seaport consists of five terminals, each equipped with separate warehouses where any product permitted for import or export through the state border of Turkmenistan can be stored.
