In Turkmenistan, gas workers of the state concern "Turkmengaz" achieved an industrial gas inflow at well No. 2 of the Yylan field in the Mary province of Turkmenistan, the Nebit-Gaz publication reports.
According to specialists' calculations, the well produces over 820,000 cubic meters of clean, hydrogen sulfide-free gas daily. The industrially significant inflow of natural gas was obtained at a depth ranging from 2,856 to 2,852 meters.
The gas extracted from the new well meets global purity standards and does not contain harmful impurities. This ensures its high economic efficiency when utilized.
In terms of natural gas reserves, Turkmenistan ranks among the top five countries globally. The majority of the gas produced in Turkmenistan is supplied to China.
