Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have signed a roadmap for military-technical cooperation, the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reports.
The Director of the Defense Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan, Mansurjon Ibodullayev, met with the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, Vugar Mustafayev, at the International Defense Exhibition IDEX-2025 in Abu Dhabi. They concluded an agreement on a roadmap for military-technical cooperation between Tashkent and Baku.
During discussions on the prospects for cooperation in the field of military equipment, the parties exchanged views on issues important to both countries. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported the signing of the agreement.
“In conclusion, a roadmap for cooperation was signed between the Defense Industry Holding JSC 'Azersilah,' under the Ministry of Defense Industry, and the Defense Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the press service statement said.
