The indicator of capital investment in the Tajik economy as a percentage increased more than 4.6% compared to the same period in 2022, Orion.info reports.
In Tajikistan, more than 2 billion somoni ($186.1 million in investments in fixed assets) were used in two months of 2023, the Agency on Statistics of Tajikistan reported, the portal writes.
This figure includes all funding sources. Thus, the figure increased by 4.6% compared to the same period in 2022.
Thus, for the specified period, industrial facilities disbursed investments in the amount of 1.2 billion somoni, or 60.3% of the total.
At non-production facilities, investments were disbursed in the amount of 806.3 million somoni, or 39.7% of the total investment in Tajikistan.
Next comes the sector of construction of electric power facilities - 727.2 million somoni.
Compared to January-February 2022, the volume of assimilated investments in this sector decreased by 22.5%.
In transport and communications, 376.2 million somoni of investments in fixed assets were disbursed.
