At the VIII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan in Avaza, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov proposed creating a unified regional electronic trading platform. Bishkek is prepared to engage specialists from the High-Tech Park to launch the platform. The initiative aims to simplify business access to Eurasian markets and develop logistics infrastructure, including warehouses, delivery services, and customs clearance.

President Japarov also called for accelerating industrial cooperation and the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway to reduce transportation times. He also proposed developing tourism based on the "one trip, several countries" concept and coordinating efforts to protect mountain ecosystems.

Sadyr Japarov's proposal marks an important step in transforming relations between the states of Central Asia and the South Caucasus from bilateral agreements to a unified ecosystem:

  • Seamless Trade: The creation of a unified IT platform will remove information and administrative barriers for small and medium-sized businesses. A unified digital marketplace, linked to Caspian Basin logistics, will allow Central Asian producers to directly access the markets of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and the Middle East.
  • Synergy with the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route: The initiative complements the development of the Middle Route (Trans-Caspian Corridor). The integration of digital services with the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan highway project and Caspian ports will reduce transit costs and increase the transparency of trade flows.
  • Regional Sovereignty: Leveraging Kyrgyzstan's IT sector competencies underscores the region's commitment to technological independence and the formation of its own major financial and trade hub at the crossroads of Asian and European routes.
