More than 40% of Kyrgyzstan's goods exports go to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), according to a report from the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
The export volume for January–October 2023 amounted to $2.443.9 billion (compared to less than $1.9 billion for the same period in 2022).
Here are the details of Kyrgyzstan's exports by regions and integration associations:
- EEU — 40.7% (24.3% to Russia, 15.7% to Kazakhstan);
- Europe — 29% (27.2% to Switzerland, where Kyrgyzstan exports gold);
- Asia — 19.9% (a significant part, 7.2%, goes to the UAE);
- CIS excluding the EEU — 9.9% (9.5% to Uzbekistan);
- African countries - 0.3%;
- North and South American countries — 0.2%.
A small volume of exports is also directed to Australia and Oceania.
