As part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Tajikistan on April 8-9 in Dushanbe, in addition to official negotiations between the leaders of the two countries, a number of events are planned, Khovar reports.
The first meeting of the Working Council of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and the opening ceremony of the exhibition of export products of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will be held at the National Library of Tajikistan.
A joint meeting of the Associations of Entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan is expected.
It will be attended by more than 67 large and medium-sized companies of Turkmenistan in mixed industries, in the production of confectionery, household appliances, plastic products, coffee, stationery, textiles, polypropylene threads, as well as in tourism, consulting services, construction, and trade.
The signing of bilateral documents on cooperation between business and investment circles of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan is envisaged.
In addition, within the framework of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting of the creative intelligentsia of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan is expected.
