In 2025, enterprises with foreign investment in Kyrgyzstan produced goods worth 215.3 billion soms, accounting for 26.3% of the country's total industrial output, according to Akchabar.kg.

According to the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, the highest share of foreign capital in industry was recorded in Talas Oblast (90.3%). In Naryn Oblast, this figure was 50.4%, in Osh Oblast (49.3%), in Jalal-Abad Oblast (48.5%), in Chui Oblast (24.1%), and in Batken Oblast (23.4%).

At the same time, the country recorded a significant increase in investment activity: foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, excluding outflows, reached $1.31 billion, an increase of 27.3% compared to 2024 and a 30.3% increase over 2021 levels. 85.7% of all funds were concentrated in manufacturing, mining, trade, and the financial sector.

These macroeconomic indicators are key to Kyrgyzstan's sustainable development. The high share of foreign capital in the Talas, Naryn, and southern regions clearly demonstrates that foreign investment is the main driver of regional industrialization.

The creation of mining and processing clusters creates jobs outside the capital and reduces labor migration. The double-digit growth in FDI inflows to $1.31 billion confirms the continued high level of international business confidence in the republic's jurisdiction, which strengthens the balance of payments and ensures an influx of foreign currency liquidity.

In turn, the high concentration of investment in the manufacturing sector and financial intermediation stimulates the technological modernization of national production and increases the added value of products in the Central Asian market.
