Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan drilled clocks in Avaza

In the Avaza tourist zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, several meetings of the ministries of three states - Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan took place. The ministers of foreign affairs were the first to negotiate, then the ministers of energy and transport departments of the three Turkic-speaking states. The talks took place on the eve of the first trilateral high-level summit. The participants in the talks spoke about this on social networks, Orient reports.

“Effective steps will be taken at the upcoming summit that will affect the life of the region in the fields of energy, economy, communications, trade, customs and other areas,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, speaking at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the three countries.

Later, a meeting was held in Avaza between the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. At the talks, the parties discussed further steps in the development of cooperation between the countries in the field of transport, energy and the military-industrial complex.

“We are developing our cooperation in the field of transport and logistics and further strengthening our ties,” Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu tweeted after a meeting with Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakiev and Minister of Digital Development and Transport Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiev.

The summit meeting of the heads of the three states is scheduled for December 13-14, 2022. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan arrives in Turkmenistan on December 13.
